How to improve your energy level 



Have you ever had trouble getting up in the morning? Had an afternoon slump?  There are many things that cause you to be fatigued. Many people grab an energy drink that is full of synthetic ingredients which causes more damage to their health. Here are some simple things to help you with your energy and health. Read on to the end to see what helps me the most for energy—a must have for each.

Drinking fluids helps our bodies, such as removing waste through urine; controlling body temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure; and maintaining a healthy metabolism and brain function. How much should we drink? Many different answers out there and it depends on each person. I go by the rule of half of your body weight. What should you not drink? Sugary drinks is a no. Drinking filtered water with essential oils or fruit/cucumbers/mint added to it. I only use essential oils that are from a company that I trust. Many companies use herbicides, pesticides, and synthetics. Another great alternative is coconut water with no additives. 

Healthy diet

Eating a well-balanced diet is a must. Many colorful raw vegetables and fruits help with alkalizing your body. Too many people eat acidic foods and do not realize how important it is to have a high amount of alkalizing foods and drinks in their diet.  At least 60 percent of alkaline-producing foods should be eaten, although the ideal amount is 75 to 80 percent alkaline foods to 20 to 25 percent acidic foods. Always check with your doctor with what diet is recommended. Each person is different in what their body needs. Checking their pH level with pH strips helps to know if their body is too acidic or too alkaline. The pH range is from 0 to 14, with 7.0 being neutral.  Anything above 7.0 is alkaline, anything below 7.0 is considered acidic. Human blood pH should be slightly alkaline (7.35 - 7.45). Below or above this range means symptoms and disease. If blood pH moves below 6.8 or above 7.8, cells stop functioning and the body dies. The body therefore continually strives to balance pH. When this balance is compromised many problems can occur. An imbalanced diet high in acidic-producing foods such as animal protein, sugar, caffeine, and processed foods puts pressure on the body's regulating systems to maintain pH neutrality. The extra buffering required can deplete the body of alkaline minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, making the person prone to chronic and degenerative disease.
